Discussion at the Norwegian Embassy in Sri Lanka

Dr. Dulan Hettiarachchi, Chairman of the Cey-Nor Foundation, recently held a special discussion at the Norwegian Embassy in Sri Lanka with the Norwegian Ambassador to Sri Lanka about the creation of fishing and advanced professional community in Sri Lanka and creating new investment opportunities.

The company was founded in 1967 with aid received from the Norwegian government and is currently functioning as a government organization under the Ministry of Fisheries.

Cey - Nor , has a unique and excellent service of fifty-five years as the official supplier of the fishing community and disaster management, is working with the Norwegian government to bring investments in tourism fishing to Sri Lanka. Dr. Dulan Hettiarachchi, chairman of the Cey - Nor, mentioned that together with the Norwegian government, investments in tourism and fishing are being made to reach Sri Lanka. In addition, the company will be planning to establish a vocational education academy with the collaboration of the Norwegian embassy in near future.
